do the funny folks get called home because we need more laughter in heaven?

when we lose our sense of the absurd,
the uproarious,
the silly,
we lose more than our sense of humor

we lose os part of what makes us human

then we begin to see ourselves as 'oh so very serious'

and worse yet

take our selves too seriously

then we begin to lose a bit of our humanity

we begin to think it's ok to hurt people for information

to lie for the protection of the unjust

to ignore the facts to get our way

we need more funny here on earth
