ReplyDeleteIt's okay. You've adopted the world. You have your furry buddies and your other pets and you have a whole lot of time for each other and your beloved parents that you wouldn't have had if you were concentrated on your children. When you have a child, you have to devote many years of effort and love and hope into their development. You have little time left for yourself during those years. You and Gene have had the luxury of watching out for each other and cementing a wonderful relationship while extablishing your careers and your home. You can always adopt a nephew for a week or two each year. That would give you the best of both worlds.
